April 2, 2020 - Covid 19 Update

Registrations for school has changed this year, but we need a bit more time to get it done. Getting pastoral authorizations, in-person registration, international registrations, re-registration, etc have taken longer than anticipated, so we are going to give you a bit more time to get it done.

The plan moving forward this year is attached here.

If you are incurring problems in any area of the registration process, phone the office and the office staff would be happy to assist you.

March 26, 2020 - Covid 19 Update

Times are a changing.  We are in planning mode, but have no specific new news to pass on at this time.

THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED until further notice.  The custodians have done a thorough sanitizing of the school and we will keep it that way until we get the go ahead to return . This closing does raise a few concerns.

The staff is meeting on Monday to discuss preliminary plans. Even though we encouraged the students to bring their books home prior to spring break, some didn't.  We will arrange book pick up starting Tuesday.  We will bring the books to the front door and students can pick them up then...more details to follow.

We will continue to follow the directives from the Ministry of Education in conjunction with the BC Health Authority and the CISVA.

Stay strong and safe.

John Campbell, Principal

North Vancouver's Catholic High SchoOL

In line with our school motto, “Direct Me In Your Truth”, our school focuses on providing our students with the tools to lead productive moral lives. To help our students and their families face the challenges our world gives us, STA purposely focuses on educating the “whole person”:  academically, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially.  The Catholic atmosphere at St. Thomas Aquinas is centered in the Gospel Message of Love. This Catholic atmosphere inspires a deeper understanding of our Catholic heritage, instills a spirit of service, respects the dignity of the individual and promotes involvement in parish life.  The independent nature of our school allows us the freedom to ensure that Catholic morals infuse the school curriculum.

We are an extension of our local Catholic parishes and therefore have a very important role to play.
